At Ideal Home Projects, we believe that dispatching your order as soon as possible is our number one priority. We offer various shipping options and below is a summary of our services.
- Your order will be sent by either Royal Mail, My Hermes, DPD or APC Overnight.
- You can choose how soon you would like your order to arrive at checkout and by selecting the service you require.
- Where multiple items are included in one order, we may dispatch the items separately, in which case, you will only be charged one postage and packing charge.
Royal Mail 2nd Class
Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class)
Any order placed by Standard delivery should arrive in three to five working days, but please allow up to 7 working days for Royal Mail 2nd Class deliveries (This does not include any weekends or Bank holidays)
- We aim to send out orders placed before 1pm the same working day.
- You will receive an email or text message once your order is despatched.
- Orders sent via Royal Mail Recorded, DPD or My Hermes will need a signature on delivery.

- Orders received before 1pm will be sent out the same day, (When placed on weekdays) but we do NOT guarantee next working day delivery. Please allow up to 3 working days
- Royal Mail quotes that 92% of 1st Class packets arrive the next working day, so please use a Royal Mail Special Delivery or DPD delivery option if your parcel is urgent.
Next Day Delivery

- Next day delivery costs £7.99 for UK Mainland.
- Please place your order before 1:00pm for delivery on the next working day.
- Orders placed on Friday after 1pm, weekend and Bank Holidays in the UK will not be process until the next working day.
- You will receive an email or text message once your order is despatched.
- Please note that NOT all orders will qualify for next day delivery and this could be on items that are deemed to be prohibited goods (aerosols/liquids) or Postcodes that are classed as out of zone by the postal companies/couriers. (Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland).

Rest Of The World – from £5.99 – Estimated Delivery time is 5-21 days (depending on location and various customs clearance in the respected Countries).

How do I cancel my order?
Cancelling an Order
We’re sorry that in most circumstances it’s not possible to make changes to your order once you’ve placed it.
- To add products to your order, please place a new order for these items.
- To change details of your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, please contact us on 020 8993 3535 between 9.30am and 4pm on weekdays. Please be ready to quote your order number.
- If your order has already been despatched or delivered, then you’ll need to follow our Returns procedure in the event of any unwanted products.
How will you process my refund?
Returns & Refunds
If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order by post for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of receiving the item.
Ideal Home Projects Ltd are happy to refund you on return of the item, providing it is new (unused/unopened), complete in all original packaging. Please ensure that the goods are packaged properly to avoid any damage in transit. Should the items reach us damaged we will NOT issue you with a refund.
We recommend that when you return any order that you obtain a Certificate of Postage/proof of posting or a tracking number if you opt for this return method. We will not be held responsible for items that do not reach us. It will be the customers responsibility into locating/tracking the return order.
You must contact us within 14 calendar days of receipt of your goods and return the item within 14 days.
We will be more than happy in reimbursing you for postage costs only in the event that the product is damaged or is faulty. If you have changed your mind or the order is placed in error return costs will need to be covered by the customer.
Our Refund Policy runs alongside your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.
If you would like a refund, once we have received your return we will process your refund and a credit will be applied to the original payment method within ten working days.

How can I report a missing or a damaged item?
Missing or Damaged Items
Please report all missing or damaged items by sending an email to sales@idealhomeprojects.com including details of your name, order number, date of order, items damaged or missing and a contact phone number. We will then arrange for a replacement or refund of the damaged or missing items.
Please Note: All damaged or missing items must be reported on the day of delivery.
